Gavin Newsom\u2019s son was photographed maskless indoors at a summer camp, which prompted the California governor to pull his kids out of the camp, Fox News reported.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\u201c\u200b\u200bThe Newsoms were concerned to see unvaccinated children unmasked indoors at a camp their children began attending yesterday,\u201d the governor\u2019s communications director, Erin Mellon, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/gavin-newsom-son-summer-camp-removed-maskless-photos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox News<\/a> when asked about the photos Tuesday. \u201cTheir kids will no longer be attending the camp.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>California\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdph.ca.gov\/Programs\/CID\/DCDC\/Pages\/COVID-19\/Face-Coverings-QA.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">current guidance<\/a> says&nbsp;children ages 2-11 must wear masks during \u201ccamps for youth, youth sports and other youth activities,&nbsp;including theater and music performances and band.\u201d Earlier this month, California announced that regardless of vaccination status, students and teachers will be required to wear masks in schools, Fox News reported.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Photos of Newsom\u2019s unmasked son got social media attention, specifically from an account called <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ReopenCASchools?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1419901717487906817%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es2_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.foxnews.com%2Fpolitics%2Fgavin-newsom-son-summer-camp-removed-maskless-photos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reopen California Schools<\/a>, which has recently filed a lawsuit against Newsom on the updated masking guidelines in schools, Fox News reported. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/10\/california-governor-gavin-newsom-made-mistakes-coronavirus-state-union-speech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Gov.
