Reports said Afghan migrants have continued to pour into Turkey, raising concerns over the influx of refugees in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Turkish Interior Ministry officials said they detained around 1,600 migrants in just two weeks. In addition, the U.N. Refugee Agency estimated around 270,000 Afghans have been displaced since January.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Afghan migrants said they\u2019re making the trek through Iran to Turkey in hopes of finding work in Istanbul.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The number of people forced to flee due to conflict, war and&nbsp; human rights abuses has reached a record-breaking 82.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>World leaders must act to reverse this trend of soaring displacement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Stand <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WithRefugees?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#WithRefugees<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uYmQq3rLT4\">https:\/\/t.co\/uYmQq3rLT4<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jaXR1BvkkA\">pic.twitter.com\/jaXR1BvkkA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency (@Refugees) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Refugees\/status\/1418348891154665479?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 22, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI came here to work. There is no money in Afghanistan and there is the Taliban,\u201d said one Afghan migrant. \u201cThey are giving weapons, asking people to fight.
