(AP Photo\/Jose Luis Magana)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 5:30 PM PT \u2013 Wednesday, July 21, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>House conservatives have refused to back down against Democrats on border wall funding, saying it\u2019s their \u201chill to die on.\u201d This week the House Republican Study Committee revealed a bill to give $22 billion directly to border states that want to continue building President Trump\u2019s wall.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the committee along with President Trump visited a section of the wall in Texas that was almost complete, but was stopped under Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It\u2019s been 180 days since Biden halted border wall construction to \u201dstudy\u201d the wall. The report was due 120 days ago &amp; no one has seen it.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeBiden?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@JoeBiden<\/a> where is your report?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s time to put Americans first. James Lankford (@SenatorLankford) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SenatorLankford\/status\/1417916104220020736?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 21, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWithin two months, everything could have been completed, not sitting there rotting and rusting\u201d said Trump. \u201cIt was all set.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The RSC\u2019s chairman reiterated President Trump\u2019s comments that steel paid for by taxpayers was rusting on the ground and federal contractors have already been paid not to build the wall. Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) stressed that after his visit to the border, he\u2019s more convinced than ever that continuing to build the wall is the right path.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Texas Gov.
