Dan Bishop will introduce amendments Wednesday to the Democrats\u2019 government funding bill that would ban federal funds from being used to teach or promote ideas associated with critical race theory (CRT).<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Caller first obtained the amendments which will go to each division of the minibus. The amendments would specifically prohibit the following ideas from being advanced with federal funds:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any race is inherently superior or inferior to any other race.<\/li>\n<li>The United States is a fundamentally racist country.<\/li>\n<li>The Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution are fundamentally racist documents.<\/li>\n<li>An individual\u2019s moral worth is determined by his or her race.<\/li>\n<li>An individual, by virtue of his or her race, is inherently racist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.<\/li>\n<li>An individual, because of his or her race, bears responsibility for the actions committed by members of his or her race.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The amendment text will be the same for each division, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Labor\/HHS\/Education<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture\/Rural Development<\/li>\n<li>Energy and Water Development<\/li>\n<li>Financial Services and General Government<\/li>\n<li>Interior\/Environment \u2022 Military Construction\/VA<\/li>\n<li>Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>READ THE AMENDMENT HERE:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"View (DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) -- EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Its adherents pursue \u201cantiracism\u201d through the end of merit, objective truth and the adoption of race-based policies. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/12\/house-republicans-introduce-legislation-defund-critical-race-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: House Republicans Introduce Legislation To Fully Defund Critical Race Theory)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s nothing innocent about critical race theory, it\u2019s an ideology that divides people by race and preaches that America is a fundamentally racist country,\u201d Bishop told the Daily Caller. \u201cThis poisonous ideology shouldn\u2019t be promoted or taught anywhere in this country, especially not with Americans\u2019 tax dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bishop and House Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/12\/house-republicans-introduce-legislation-defund-critical-race-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">introduced<\/a> legislation in May that bans federal funding of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/06\/lcps-blatantly-lying-or-they-do-not-understand-critical-race-theory-parents-group-releases-new-evidence-of-indoctrination-loudoun-county-schools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CRT<\/a>. Bishop announced the news next to former Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought and a number of other House Republicans. One bill is titled the \u201cThe Stop CRT Act\u201d and bans all federal funding for promoting or teaching CRT. It will also implement former President Donald Trump\u2019s executive order that banned <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/31\/critical-race-theory-academic-antiracism-public-schools-christopher-rufo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CRT<\/a> from being promoted in the federal government. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/01\/tom-cotton-slams-military-promotion-critical-race-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018Ideological Poison\u2019: Tom Cotton Slams Military\u2019s Promotion Of Critical Race Theory)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other bill is titled \u201cCombatting Racist Training in the Military Act,\u201d and is a House companion bill to Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton\u2019s Senate <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/01\/tom-cotton-slams-military-promotion-critical-race-theory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bill<\/a>, which would make sure military members are not subject to CRT.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and the Rules Committee would need to make these amendments and allow a floor vote in order for them to be adopted.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Republican North Carolina Rep.
