During an interview on Monday, Federal Judge Esther Salas said her faith has given her the strength to forgive her son\u2019s killer.<\/p>\n<p>A gunman opened fire on Salas\u2019s home in July 2020, which wounded her husband and killed 20-year-old Daniel Anderl. Salas said her son gave his life for her and her husband.<\/p>\n<p>The judge added she couldn\u2019t walk around with resentment or hate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI realize that in some part it\u2019s important to forgive.
