Chief Justice John Roberts has been arrested for child trafficking, plus other charges!\u201d the July 14 Facebook post reads, citing someone named Scott Brunswick as the source of the claim. Brunswick has previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/star.aquarius.731\/posts\/4265374396860659\">been cited<\/a> as the source for other Facebook posts, including one that falsely claimed former President Donald Trump retained full control of the military.<\/p>\n<p>There is no evidence, however, that Roberts was arrested for child trafficking, or anything else. Check Your Fact searched press releases from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/publicinfo\/press\/pressreleases.aspx\">Supreme Court<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbi.gov\/news\/pressrel\">FBI<\/a>, but found no mention of Roberts being arrested. Had the chief justice been arrested, major media outlets almost certainly would have reported on it, yet <a href=\"https:\/\/news.google.com\/search?q=chief%20justice%20roberts%20arrested&amp;hl=en-US&amp;gl=US&amp;ceid=US%3Aen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">none<\/a> have.<\/p>\n<p>While Supreme Court Justices are able to hold office \u201cas long as they choose,\u201d according to the Supreme Court\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/about\/faq_general.aspx\">website<\/a>, they are able to be removed by impeachment.
