In an <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FaceTheNation\/status\/1416793161381421064\">interview<\/a> Sunday, he said the nation\u2019s intense political environment is creating unprecedented division.<\/p>\n<p>His comments came after Joe Biden made \u201cunity\u201d one of the key themes of his campaign. However, Mullen insisted that the Biden administration is doing little, if anything, to bring the military together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe political environment is so intense and so divided,\u201d said the admiral.
