On Friday, Blinken met with Kenya\u2019s foreign minister to discuss how both countries could move forward in the post-pandemic era.<\/p>\n<p>According to Blinken, the U.S. is expected to send its first shipments of COVID-19 vaccines to Kenya in the coming days amid a surge in cases across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very pleased to have been able to help with COVID and vaccines.
