The original video does not show Johnson with a black eye or any visible injury.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Johnson announced all remaining coronavirus restrictions in England would be lifted on July 19, despite a recent surge in COVID-19 cases, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/europe-business-health-government-and-politics-coronavirus-pandemic-3776cfdb1c180720b9ea000a2c65618b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Associated Press<\/a>. The country began slowly lifting restrictions in March, starting with reopening schools, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>Now, a video on Facebook seemingly shows a news segment aired on BBC News of Johnson speaking with a black eye. The video was first shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@hussainalsalman0\/video\/6984081554679041285?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TikTok<\/a> July 12 and has over 35,000 likes and 6,100 comments. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/07\/07\/fact-check-photo-boris-johnson-ghislaine-maxwell-allegra-mostyn-owen\/\">(RELATED: Does This Photo Show Boris Johnson With Ghislaine Maxwell?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The video, however, appears to have been doctored to include the black eye. Check Your Fact found the original video posted on YouTube by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hMUAtuMqgzs\">BBC<\/a> on July 12.
