Jamie Raskin (D-MD) have asked if Cyber Ninjas&nbsp;is working to \u201creverse the result of a free and fair election for partisan gain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maloney and Raskin are seeking from the firm\u2019s CEO \u201ca raft of documents related to the audit, including information about who is paying for it,\u201d CNBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/07\/14\/house-democrats-probe-arizona-election-audit-by-cyber-ninjas.html\">stated<\/a> in a report Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re also requesting any communications, between November 6, 2020, and the present, that could have occurred between Cyber Ninjas affiliates and former President Donald Trump, or between Cyber Ninja affiliates and a number of Trump allies.<\/p>\n<div title=\"Page 1\" readability=\"81.081810631229\">\n<p class=\"layoutArea\">\u201cWe are writing to request information about Cyber Ninjas\u2019 participation in an \u2018audit\u2019 of nearly 2.1 million ballots cast in Maricopa County, Arizona, in the 2020 election,\u201d Maloney and Raskin <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/sites\/democrats.oversight.house.gov\/files\/2021-07-14.CBM%20JR%20to%20Logan-Cyber%20Ninjas%20re%20Arizona%20Election%20Audit.pdf\">told<\/a> Cyber Ninjas CEO Douglas Logan in a letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are concerned about your company\u2019s role in this highly unusual effort, given Cyber Ninjas\u2019 apparent lack of experience in conducting election-related audits; reports that the company engaged in sloppy and insecure audit practices that compromised the integrity of ballots and voting equipment and were questioned by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ); and evidence that you and other individuals funding the audit have sought to advance the \u2018big lie\u2019 of debunked voter fraud allegations in the November 2020 presidential election,\u201d the letter continues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"layoutArea\">\u201cAmericans\u2019 right to vote is protected by the Constitution and is the cornerstone of our democratic system of government,\u201d write Maloney and Raskin. \u201cThe Committee is seeking to determine whether the privately funded audit conducted by your company in Arizona protects the right to vote or is instead an effort to promote baseless conspiracy theories, undermine confidence in America\u2019s elections, and reverse the result of a free and fair election for partisan gain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/az-audit-ballot-count-certified-vote-count-do-not-match-says-senate-president\">The Daily Wire<\/a>&nbsp;reported Thursday, Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, defended Cyber Ninjas and the audit more broadly during an interview earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m confident because it\u2019s not just them,\u201d Fann said, referring to Cyber Ninjas. \u201cEverybody keeps just counting on them when actually they are working with a number of other contractors that have experience in audits and in their expertise in their own fields. \u2026 This is a joint effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo I think that it\u2019s gone as smoothly as it could have?\u201d the Republican added. \u201cHeck, no. This is the first time in the history of our nation that anybody has done an audit of this magnitude.
