District Court. All five members were charged with disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, among other charges; a sixth member of the family, a minor child, was not charged, <a href=\"https:\/\/myfox8.com\/news\/family-of-five-arrested-in-jan-6-attack-on-the-capitol\/\"><u>Fox 8<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;reported.<\/p>\n<p>FBI Special Agent David Lee Bolyard began the investigation into the family after a tipster claimed Kristi Munn, one of the daughters, entered the capitol building, according to the criminal complaint. The tipster provided screenshots of Munn\u2019s social media accounts, one of which showed the Munn family captioned with \u201cWashington D.C. here we come\u2026 #StopTheSteal #TrumpIsMyPresident,\u201d according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Further investigation found additional social media posts showing the family traveling to Washington, D.C., with one post from Thomas Munn describing his experience inside the Capitol, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"15.163434903047\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">NEW: Texas family of 5 charged in US Capitol breach<\/p>\n<p>Facebook posts galore referenced in court filings against the Munns, including Dad\u2019s saying Trump asked Americans to be in DC on Jan 6, per feds<\/p>\n<p>One Munn also posted, \u201cF*ing great! Holy s** we were inside the f*ing capital\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MSUdYDuGse\">pic.twitter.com\/MSUdYDuGse<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Scott MacFarlane (@MacFarlaneNews) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MacFarlaneNews\/status\/1415003634958585863?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 13, 2021<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bolyard identified each member of the family inside the Capitol using security footage, referring to the family\u2019s social media posts to match articles of clothing, according to the complaint. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/10\/capitol-riot-rioters-financial-difficulty-qanon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Five Times More People Arrested For The Capitol Hill Riot Faced Financial Difficulty Than Voiced Support For QAnon)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bolyard interviewed Kristi Munn on Jan. 26, who told the agent she attended former President Donald Trump\u2019s speech but denied entering the Capitol or participating in any violence or vandalism, he said in the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Several others who allegedly entered the Capitol have been identified due to social media posts, most notably a Chicago police officer <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/11\/chicago-police-officer-charged-alleged-participation-capitol-riot\/\"><u>arrested<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;in June, and a Marine Corps officer identified through social media footage was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/13\/first-active-duty-service-member-charged-jan-6-capitol-riot\/\"><u>apprehended<\/u><\/a>&nbsp;in May.<\/p>\n<p>A man involved in the Capitol riot was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/19\/capitol-riot-new-york-washington-dc\/\"><u>arrested<\/u><\/a> in May after allegedly sharing details of his experience while in a dentist\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
