Andy Biggs and a group of House Republicans sent a letter Tuesday to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra calling on him to rescind a proposal that allows Title X funding for abortion providers.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Caller first obtained the letter, which mentions the Biden administration\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kff.org\/womens-health-policy\/issue-brief\/key-elements-of-the-biden-administrations-proposed-title-x-regulation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">proposal to permit<\/a> Title X grants to be awarded to providers who include abortion as a part of family planning. Biggs called out the Biden administration in a statement to the Daily Caller, saying taxpayers should not be <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/15\/joni-ernst-planned-parenthood-defund-title-x-biden-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">responsible<\/a> to pay for abortions and said the Biden administration \u201cdisdains the sanctity of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter was signed by Biggs and 24 other House Republicans. In the letter, the Republicans called on Becerra to \u201censure that HHS complies with its statutory obligations under Title X and never allow taxpayer funding to be used in connection with abortion activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Becerra and the Biden administration would be undoing the Trump administration\u2019s rules which <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/27\/banks-biden-trump-abortion-policy-protect-life-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">required organizations that perform abortions<\/a> or send abortion referrals in separate buildings from those that receive Title X federal funding.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2019, HHS&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/08\/19\/planned-parenthood-title-ix-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told clinics they would be enforcing<\/a> the Trump administration\u2019s ban, causing Planned Parenthood to withdraw from the Title X federal family planning program in August 2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ THE LETTER HERE:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"View (DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) -- Rep.
