The Federal Emergency Management Agency assembled \u201csurge teams\u201d to bring door-knockers to local communities as early as next week, with more to come later this month.<\/p>\n<p>However, some states did not wait for federal oversight. Over the weekend, Illinois volunteers took part in the Community Health Ambassador Outreach Door-Knocking Project to increase COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and received an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lakecountyil.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/39074\/CHA-Doorknocking-Info-and-Script\">instruction manual<\/a> from the campaign team. Volunteers were instructed to ignore \u201cno soliciting\u201d signs and stick to their script, which included informing Americans that getting vaccinated was \u201cthe first step to getting our lives back\u201d and a part of the solution.<\/p>\n<p>The vaccination status of taxpayers would then be added to a data base, which presented \u201cimportant information that the health department is relying on.\u201d However, they did not specify how the Department of Public Health would use this medical information.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u2705Psaki said the government won\u2019t seize vaccine records.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cBecerra said it\u2019s \u201cthe government\u2019s business\u201d to know whose been vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705Psaki said government employees won\u2019t go door-to-door.<\/p>\n<p>\u274cFEMA announced in May that they deployed door-knockers.<\/p>\n<p>We demand the truth! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/aQ8jaRNwIN\">pic.twitter.com\/aQ8jaRNwIN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep. Lauren Boebert (@RepBoebert) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepBoebert\/status\/1413579751130869768?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 9, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At a briefing over the weekend White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made it clear the Biden administration would not back down anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe failure to provide accurate public health information including the efficacy of vaccines and the accessibility of them to people across the country including South Carolina is literally killing people,\u201d she claimed. \u201cIt is something that we will continue to work with local groups to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Psaki\u2019s remarks quickly prompted conservatives, such as former candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives Jesse Kelly, to warn if Americans invited the federal government into their homes, it could lead to further constitutional violations in the future. On Sunday, Kelly stressed this seemed to be less about simply educating Americans than the Biden administration has let on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re trying to shame you into it. That\u2019s what this is,\u201d he explained. \u201c\u2026When someone asks you something face to face, it could be hard to say no. That\u2019s what this is. Lance Gooden (R) said Biden seemed more focused on soliciting at the doorsteps of Americans than he was to confronting national security issues, such as foreign attacks on U.S. energy, head on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve got a Biden administration that\u2019s too afraid to call them out.
