The fencing around the Capitol Building was finally dismantled on Sunday after House security announced the removal last week.<\/p>\n<p>This decision comes after a new Capitol Police assessment showed its lowest threat level since earlier this year. (Drew Angerer\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>More than 40 GOP members of Congress signed a letter in February saying the barriers meant that the building was no longer the \u201cPeople\u2019s House.\u201d The letter read, \u201cit\u2019s time for healing and it\u2019s time for the removal of the fencing so the nation may move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Officials said there will not be another fence installed and all members of the public are welcome to walk around the area.<\/p>\n<h4>MORE NEWS: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/establishment-vs-progressive-dems-clash-in-cleveland\/\">Establishment Vs.
