Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-Ill.) recently signed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilga.gov\/legislation\/BillStatus.asp?DocTypeID=HB&amp;DocNum=376&amp;GAID=16&amp;SessionID=110&amp;LegID=128327\">House Bill 376<\/a> into law, citing the importance for the next generation to learn about Asian-American history amid a rise in hate crimes against the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are setting a new standard for what it means to truly reckon with our history.
