Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) urged American artists and entertainers to rethink their support for Democrats. During an interview on Thursday, Blackburn criticized the left\u2019s efforts to make country music \u201cwoke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blackburn claimed artists and entertainers who sympathize with the \u201cwoke\u201d left don\u2019t realize the dangers of Marxism. She warned their music would be cut off unless approved by the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I\u2019m talking to my friends who are musicians and entertainers, I say if we have a socialistic government, if we have Marxism, you are going to be the first ones who are going to be cut off,\u201d she expressed. \u201cThe state would have to approve your music.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The only people supporting socialism are those who have never lived under it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sen.
