Virginians cannot trust a word that comes out of his mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">Youngkin\u2019s reference to radical abortion policy harkens back to Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam\u2019s January 2019 comments endorsing infanticide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen,\u201d Northam <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/01\/30\/virginia-governor-northam-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said in an interview.<\/a> \u201cThe infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that\u2019s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">Youngkin, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.carlyle.com\/media-room\/news-release-archive\/youngkin-lee-2020-ceo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">former CEO<\/a> of the private equity giant Carlyle Group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/05\/10\/us\/politics\/glenn-youngkin-virginia-governor-republicans.html\">won<\/a> the Republican nomination for Virginia governor in May. The Virginia election will be one of only two state elections choosing governors in 2021.<\/p>\n<p data-el=\"text\">Former President Donald Trump endorsed Youngkin in a May statement that called McAuliffe Bill Clinton\u2019s \u201cbagman.\u201d (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/11\/trump-democratic-va-candidate-terry-mcauliffe-bill-clinton-bagman-youngkin-endorsement\/\">RELATED: Trump Calls Democratic VA Candidate Terry McAuliffe Bill Clinton\u2019s \u2018Bagman\u2019 In Youngkin Endorsement)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to Glenn Youngkin for winning the Republican nomination for Governor of Virginia,\u201d the former president said. \u201cGlenn is pro-Business, pro-Second Amendment, pro-Veterans, pro-America, he knows how to make Virginia\u2019s economy rip-roaring, and he has my Complete and Total Endorsement!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGlenn is running against Bill Clinton\u2019s longtime enabler, Terry McAuliffe,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cTerry McAuliffe was the Clintons\u2019 bagman in more ways than one, from the cover-ups to the get-rich-quick schemes, and his deals with Communist China look suspicious. He was responsible for many of the problems Virginia currently has.
