Her suspension has subsequently been the subject of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Sha%27carri+Richardson+suspension&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS890US890&amp;source=lnms&amp;tbm=nws&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=2ahUKEwj73bz-ktTxAhUbFVkFHVMXAtoQ_AUoA3oECAEQBQ&amp;biw=1920&amp;bih=896\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dozens<\/a> of media reports.<\/p>\n<p>Now, a viral image on Facebook shows a photo of Houlihan along with text reading: \u201cThis runner also tested positive for marijuana I wonder why you don\u2019t see this story all over the place.\u201d <span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/05\/17\/fact-check-recreational-marijuana-legalized-minnesota\/\">(RELATED: Was Recreational Marijuana Use Recently Legalized In Minnesota?)<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There is no evidence, however, that Houlihan tested positive for THC. Houlihan received a provisional suspension from the Athletic Integrity Unit (AIU) in January after testing positive for <a href=\"https:\/\/pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/compound\/Nandrolone#:~:text=Nandrolone%20is%20a%20synthetic%2C%20anabolic,and%20activates%20specific%20nuclear%20receptors.&amp;text=It%20is%20a%2017beta%2Dhydroxy,a%20hydride%20of%20an%20estrane.\">nandrolone<\/a>, a banned anabolic steroid, in December 2020, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/sports\/olympics\/2021\/06\/14\/former-asu-star-shelby-houlihan-receives-four-year-ban-positive-drug-test\/7695400002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AZcentral<\/a>. Despite the suspension, it appeared Houlihan would still be able to race at the June 18 U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon, the outlet reported.
