During an interview on Thursday, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said the Biden administration has requested the names of Americans who have refused to take the experimental vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>He claimed measures such as this somehow help protect Americans\u2019 freedoms and liberties. However, Becerra failed to acknowledge that COVID-19 has a 99 percent survival rate. Instead, he claimed Americans must now give up their privacy to the government in return for stimulus checks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is our business to try and make sure Americans can prosper, Americans can freely associate\u2026and knocking on a door has never been against the law. You don\u2019t have to answer, but we hope you do because if you haven\u2019t been vaccinated we can help dispel some of those rumors that you\u2019ve heard and hopefully get you vaccinated,\u201d said Becerra.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I have directed our health department to let the federal government know that sending government employees or agents door-to-door to compel vaccination would NOT be an effective OR a welcome strategy in Missouri!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Governor Mike Parson (@GovParsonMO) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovParsonMO\/status\/1412936318850580481?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 8, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile on social media, Republican elected officials all across the country are coming out against Biden\u2019s rhetoric and sounding the alarm on the door-to-door plan.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) criticized Biden\u2019s proposal on Thursday, saying he does not want the federal government to compel COVID vaccinations.
