At first, she apologized for her emotions but then immediately stopped herself and went on with what she was saying. Like her epiphany around her career, she acknowledged there\u2019s no need to hold back a feeling just because of some arbitrary behavioral rule set out for women. And when it comes to her \u201cbabies,\u201d all that matters is protecting them, especially her oldest, 8-year-old Noah, who has been subject to \u201cmean, awful people and cruel people,\u201d online. \u201cI don\u2019t want him to ever have to read that shit because he hears it from little kids at his own school who are like, \u2018Boys don\u2019t wear dresses,&#8217;\u201d she says.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Back in 2019, Fox told \u201cThe Talk\u201d that Noah, then 6 years old, wore dresses to his \u201creally liberal, hippy school,\u201d noting that she\u2019s trying to teach him \u201cconfidence\u201d to handle being picked on.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes, he\u2019ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses sometimes,\u201d&nbsp;she said on the panel, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/megan-fox-protecting-eldest-noah-from-school-bullies-wearing-dresses\/\">according<\/a> to PEOPLE magazine. \u201cAnd I send him to a really liberal, hippy school, but even there \u2014 here in California \u2014 he still has little boys going, \u2018Boys don\u2019t wear dresses,\u2019 or \u2018Boys don\u2019t wear pink.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we\u2019re going through that now, where I\u2019m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says,\u201d Fox said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe just wore one two days ago to school, and he came home and I was like, \u2018How was it? Did any of the friends at school have anything to say?\u2019 \u201d the \u201cJennifer\u2019s Body\u201d actress recalled. \u201cAnd he was like, \u2018Well, all the boys laughed when I came in, but I don\u2019t care, I love dresses too much.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, Fox\u2019s&nbsp;ex, Brian Austin Green, argued that \u201cit\u2019s his life\u201d when defending their then-four-year-old Noah wearing dresses in public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy son, he\u2019s four,\u201d Green said, PEOPLE reported. \u201cI\u2019ve heard from some people that they don\u2019t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, I don\u2019t care.&nbsp;He\u2019s 4 and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it\u2019s dresses or goggles or slippers or whatever. It\u2019s his life, they\u2019re not my clothes \u2026 I feel like at 4, at 5, that\u2019s a time when he should be having fun,\u201d he added. \u201cHe\u2019s not harming anyone wearing a dress.
