(AP Photo)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 10:39 AM PT \u2013 Tuesday, July 6, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Congressman Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) recently pushed back against CNN\u2019s Jim Acosta when asked about President Donald Trump and the 2020 election. The Republican representative does not appear to mince words when it comes to defending the party and discussing election integrity.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview, Acosta pressed the congressman on President Trump\u2019s leadership and his role in the January 6 capitol riot. Cawthorn asserted that the 45th president did not incite any kind of riot, adding he was just speaking at a rally.<\/p>\n<p>The questions did not stop there. Acosta went on to question Republicans\u2019 doubts of the 2020 election. Congressman Cawthorn fired back again, stating he believes there was widespread voter fraud and the presidency was stolen from President Trump.
