YJ-91 and CJ-10 cruise missiles would be fired from both land and sea against military bases, ammunition depots, communications infrastructure, and key road junctions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Drones would then be used to assess the scale of subsequent damage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cStage Three\u201d would involve further bombardment from naval vessels to prepare for an amphibious beach landing of infantry and other military units.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/news\/3203525\/ww3-fears-chinese-state-media-three-stage-battle-plan\/\"><span>The U.S. Sun<\/span><\/a><span> noted, \u201cThis was the second time the publication has outlined a scenario for an attack on Taiwan.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cLast year it detailed how an assault on the island\u2019s defense systems could occur to coincide with the start of the independence-leaning president Tsai Ing-wen\u2019s second term,\u201d the outlet added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cResolving the Taiwan question and realizing China\u2019s complete reunification is a historic mission and an unshakable commitment of the Communist Party of China,\u201d Xi said during his speech celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. \u201cWe must take resolute action to utterly defeat any attempt toward \u2018Taiwan independence,\u2019 and work together to create a bright future for national rejuvenation. No one should underestimate the resolve, the will, and the ability of the Chinese people to defend their national sovereignty and territorial integrity.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Taiwan\u2019s sovereignty is openly rejected by the Chinese regime, with the communist government reacting angrily when nations correctly refer to Taiwan as an independent nation. For <\/span><span>example<\/span><span>, \u201cJapanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, sparked an uproar of Chinese outrage \u2026 when he referred to Taiwan as a country.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAfter resuming diplomatic ties with China in 1972, Japan has said it would regard the country\u2019s position on Taiwan with \u2018understanding\u2019 and \u2018respect,\u2019\u201d The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/japanese-pm-sparks-chinese-govt-outrage-by-calling-taiwan-a-country%5C\">reported<\/a>. \u201cTokyo officials often refer to Taiwan as a \u2018region\u2019 instead of a country.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/china-outraged-japanese-pm-calls-taiwan-country-1599276\"><span>Newsweek<\/span><\/a><span> noted, however, that Japanese officials have recently started referring to Taiwan as a country, which could indicate a breakdown in relations between the two nations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Then, in late May, <\/span><span>actor and WWE star John Cena appeared on Chinese social media to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/john-cena-begging-china-for-forgiveness-proves-that-money-beats-morality-every-time\"><span>apologize<\/span><\/a><span> for referring to Taiwan as a \u201ccountry\u201d while promoting \u201cFast &amp; Furious 9.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHi China, I\u2019m John Cena.
