On Saturday night, six people were on the Raging River ride at Adventureland Park when the raft they were on overturned.<\/p>\n<p>Altoona Fire Department arrived on the scene, which took some time for them to reach due to the ride\u2019s distance from park entrances. Three riders suffered critical injuries and were transported to a local hospital. One other rider was sent to the hospital for minor injuries.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On 7\/3\/21 at 7:30, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AltoonaPD_Iowa?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AltoonaPD_Iowa<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/altoonafd?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@altoonafd<\/a> responded to a medical emergency at Adventureland Park at the Raging River. 6 passengers were on the raft when it overturned. 3 critical patients &amp; 1 minor injury patient were transported to a local hospital. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0oy09K2ULe\">pic.twitter.com\/0oy09K2ULe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lt. Booher fell on the conveyor belt and fractured his skull, which led to his death four days later at a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Adventureland Park officials, the ride was inspected on Friday and was found to be in working order.
