As we put this pandemic behind us, rebuild our economy, root out systemic racism, and tackle climate change, we\u2019re addressing the great crises of our time with a greater sense of purpose than ever before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Beyond <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/heres-what-each-of-bidens-42-executive-orders-will-actually-do\"><span>nixing<\/span><\/a><span> the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline, Biden administration officials \u2014 such as climate czar John Kerry \u2014 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/john-kerry-implies-net-zero-emissions-goal-not-good-enough-says-we-need-to-get-carbon-dioxide-out-of-the-atmosphere\"><span>believe<\/span><\/a><span> that even if the United States reaches net-zero emissions, \u201cwe still have to get carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Vice President Harris \u2014 who recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kamala-harris-visits-u-s-mexico-border-says-it-was-always-the-plan-to-go\"><span>visited<\/span><\/a><span> the border for the first time since President Biden placed her in charge of addressing the migrant crisis \u2014 sees fighting climate change as a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/kamala-harris-solution-to-ongoing-border-crisis-fighting-climate-change\"><span>key<\/span><\/a><span> to addressing illegal immigration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe want to help people find hope at home, and so we are focused on addressing both the acute factors and the root causes of migration. I believe this is an important distinction. We must focus on both,\u201d Harris said. \u201cFirst, the acute factors, the catastrophes that are causing people to leave right now; the hurricanes, the pandemic, the drought, and extreme food insecurity. Then there are the longstanding issues, the root causes. I\u2019m thinking of corruption, violence and poverty, the lack of economic opportunity, the lack of climate adaptation and climate resilience, the lack of good governance.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>According to FOX Business, the average price of gas in the United States is $3.09 per gallon.
