I\u2019m concerned that you guys are asking me questions that I\u2019ll answer next week, but on the holiday weekend I\u2019m gonna celebrate it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s great things happening. The economy is growing faster than any time in 40 years, we\u2019ve got a record number of new jobs, COVID-19 deaths are down 90%, wages are up faster than any time in 15 years, we\u2019re bringing our troops home,\u201d he added. \u201cAll across America people are going to ballgames and doing good things\u2026 I\u2019ll answer all your negative questions, not negative, your legitimate questions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/02\/biden-afghanistan-withdraw-bagram-air-base\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden<\/a> was initially asked if the U.S. withdrawal in Afghanistan would be completed within the next few days, to which he said no. Biden then addressed a question about his confidence level that <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/27\/afghan-taliban\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Afghan government forces<\/a> could resist an ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/02\/us-bagram-air-base-afghanistan-withdrawal-taliban-celebrates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Taliban offensive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I met with the Afghan government here in the White House,\u201d Biden said. \u201cI think they have the capacity to be able to sustain a government\u2026 I am concerned that the deal with the internal issues that they have to be able to generate the kind of support they need nationwide to maintain the government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden pushed back when a reporter began to ask a third question about Afghanistan, saying \u201cI want to talk about happy things man!\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/07\/02\/us-withdraws-troops-afghanistan-bagram-air-base\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: US Withdraws All Troops From Afghanistan\u2019s Bagram Air Base)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The reporter asked if the U.S. had the capability to provide military support to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/25\/afghanistan-taliban-us-troop-militia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">protect Kabul<\/a>, the Afghan capital, even if <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/10\/us-military-destroying-equipment-afghanistan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">U.S. troops<\/a> are gone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have worked out an over-the-horizon capacity that we can be value added, but the Afghans are gonna have to be able to do it themselves with the air force they have, which we\u2019re helping to maintain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration\u2019s planned withdrawal from the country, which has had heavy U.S. military presence for 20 years, has <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/04\/21\/mitt-romney-joe-biden-afghanistan-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">come under scrutiny<\/a> as the Taliban have <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/28\/afghanistan-joe-biden-withdrawal-september-11-taliban-hostilties\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">increasingly taken over more government-controlled territory<\/a> as American troops leave. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/28\/antony-blinken-isis-taliban-troop-withdrawal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Despite Afghanistan Troop Withdrawal, White House Reaffirms Mission To Defeat ISIS)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A full <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/23\/intelligence-community-afghanistan-taliban\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American withdrawal<\/a> was initially negotiated by former President Donald Trump and set to be completed in May of this year.
