RICHARDS\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Khan wrote a paper while at Yale Law School titled,&nbsp;\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yalelawjournal.org\/note\/amazons-antitrust-paradox\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazon\u2019s Antitrust Paradox,<\/a>\u201d which gained lots of attention and has also written other pieces over antitrust and competition policy, the petition said.<\/p>\n<p>The petition said Khan&nbsp;\u201cwrote several articles in prominent publications stating that, in her view, Amazon has engaged in antitrust violations\u201d and&nbsp;\u201chas since argued that her legal conclusions about Amazon\u2019s antitrust liability warrant breaking up the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a tremendous honor to have been selected by President Biden to lead the Federal Trade Commission,\u201d Khan said in an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftc.gov\/news-events\/press-releases\/2021\/06\/lina-khan-sworn-chair-ftc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FTC<\/a>&nbsp;June 15 press release. \u201cI look forward to working with my colleagues to protect the public from corporate abuse.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/25\/washington-dc-karl-racine-amazon-antitrust-price-control\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED:&nbsp;Senate Overwhelmingly Confirms Vocal Big Tech Critic Lina Khan To Lead The FTC)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FTC did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
