As a result, the County will not use the tabulation equipment subpoenaed by the Arizona Senate in any future elections. Read more: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/47bg4J00MG\">https:\/\/t.co\/47bg4J00MG<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Maricopa County (@maricopacounty) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/maricopacounty\/status\/1409644786588418054?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 28, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Democratic Arizona Sec. of State Kate Hobbs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maricopa.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/69807\/Ltr-Sec-Hobbs-to-BOS-re-Voting-Equipment-52021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sent a letter<\/a> to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in May <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/21\/voting-machines-auditors-grave-security-concerns-arizona-election-audit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">expressing concerns<\/a> about the election equipment that was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maricopa.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/69806\/Complaint-Final-62821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">subpoenaed<\/a> by the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have grave concerns regarding the security and integrity of these machines, given that the chain of custody, a critical security tenet, has been compromised and election officials do not know what was done to the machines while under Cyber Ninjas\u2019 control,\u201d Hobbs wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Hobbs alleged the \u201closs of custody\u201d could jeopardize the integrity of the machines and future elections. Hobbs said she believes once \u201celection officials lose custody and control over voting systems and components, those devices should not be reused in future elections.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maricopa Deputy County Attorney Joseph E. La Rue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maricopa.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/69786\/Response-to-Sec-Hobbs-re-Use-of-Equipment-62821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">responded<\/a> to Hobbs\u2019 letter, noting \u201cthe Board shares your concerns\u201d about \u201cany future use by Maricopa County of the election equipment that was subpoenaed by the Arizona Senate, because they placed it under control of persons not certified to handle election equipment in the United States, such as the Cyber Ninjas and others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaricopa County will not use the subpoenaed election equipment in any future election.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/06\/department-of-justice-arizona-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: DOJ Expresses Concern Arizona Audit Is Violating Election Law)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The county turned over several Dominion Voting Systems machines, along with more than two million ballots and voter information in regard to the presidential election audit.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"8.4375\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Audit Update: Paper examination and counting are finished today. Cyber Ninja CEO, Doug Logan, has claimed the 2020 election was stolen despite no evidence, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/news\/politics\/elections\/2021\/06\/27\/cyber-ninjas-doug-logan-arizona-election-audit-overseer-appears-the-deep-rig-film-rigged-election\/5350003001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Central<\/a>.
