While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Happiness-Convict-Trump-That-Thing\/dp\/B07YPWZPCY?th=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shirts with that message<\/a> do exist, the picture of Clooney wearing one is digitally altered. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2019\/10\/02\/fact-check-vermont-governor-phil-scott-impeach-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Vermont Gov. Phil Scott Vote To Impeach President Trump?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact found the original photo in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.popsugar.com\/fashion\/photo-gallery\/42506576\/image\/42506588\/Amal-Clooney-Polka-Dot-Outfit-LA-October-2016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">slideshow<\/a> about Clooney\u2019s wife\u2019s outfit choices that was published by PopSugar. The outlet attributes the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avalon.red\/519721132?mp_sps=519721295\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">unaltered photo<\/a> to Pacific Coast News Online. In the original picture, Clooney sports a t-shirt with the logo for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casamigos.com\/en-us\/our-story\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casamigos Tequila<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The edited image being shared on Facebook superimposes the message about Trump over the Casamigos Tequila logo. Clooney and the other co-founders sold Casamigos to the spirits company Diageo in 2017, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/06\/21\/george-clooney-just-sold-his-tequila-business-for-1-billion.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Though the image of Clooney wearing the \u201cconvict Trump\u201d shirt is not real, the actor has publicly criticized Trump in the past.
