Fischetti told Politico he spoke with Vance\u2019s office regarding potential charges coming out of the case and was told the charges focus on tax issues within the Trump organization, but that they did not list any other potential charges. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/25\/manhattan-district-attorney-millions-pages-trump-tax-documents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Manhattan District Attorney Reportedly Obtains Millions Of Pages Of Trump\u2019s Tax Documents Following Supreme Court Decision)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe asked, \u2018Is there anything else?\u2019\u201d Fischetti <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2021\/06\/28\/trump-lawyer-manhattan-da-wont-charge-496768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">told Politico<\/a>. \u201cThey said, \u2018No.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement reportedly left open the possibility that Trump could be charged personally in a future indictment, however.<\/p>\n<p class=\" story-text__paragraph\" data-content-child-index=\"0-4\">\u201cThey just said, \u2018When this indictment comes down, he won\u2019t be charged. It began the day I came down the escalator in Trump Tower, and it\u2019s never stopped,\u201d Trump said in a May 26 statement. \u201cThis is purely political, and an affront to the almost 75 million voters who supported me in the Presidential Election, and it\u2019s being driven by highly partisan Democrat prosecutors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vance and New York Attorney General Letitia James <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/19\/tish-james-new-york-attorney-general-criminal-investigation-donald-trump-organization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced<\/a> that their joint investigation into the Trump Organization was criminal in nature in May, though they did not specify parties that might potentially face charges at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have informed the Trump Organization that our investigation into the organization is no longer purely civil in nature.
