In a letter to House Republicans on Sunday, the Republican lawmaker said his plan aims to prevent tech giants from discriminating against Americans based on political affiliation. It would also allow users to sue Big Tech for blocking their First Amendment rights.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Dem plan for Big Tech ignores conservative censorship\u2014and makes it even worse. They want to empower a federal bureaucracy with no accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Conservatives and our ideas have been targeted for too long. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who also signed the letter, said Democrats are making it easier for Big Tech to keep this up.
