Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is defending his recent dissent from the Democrat Party agenda, saying he has always favored more moderate policies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve not voted any differently than I voted for 10 years. I\u2019ve always been very moderate, very centrist,\u201d said Manchin. \u201cI tell people, I\u2019m fiscally responsible and socially compassionate. And I want to find that middle\u2026and I think there\u2019s always a middle to find.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Manchin said he\u2019s recently been under attack by far-left Democrats for failing to support their $6 trillion spending wish list along with other radical policy proposals.
