Dianne Feinstein\u2019s (D-CA) sumptuous estate in Lake Tahoe, California, is now on the market for $41 million.<\/p>\n<p>The nearly five-acre waterfront compound, which encompasses a main house and two guest houses, is\u00a0listed under the LLC, Lucky Bluff,\u00a0which is tied to Blum Capital, the investment management firm of Feinstein\u2019s husband, Richard Blum, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/06\/25\/dianne-feinstein-lists-41m-lake-tahoe-estate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe second property, known as the Rubicon Pavilion, was created in 2015 for entertaining and includes a small kitchen and outside BBQ for al fresco dining. Pegged as a 5-star suite, the listing states this structure was designed for \u2018special guests\u2019 and influenced by a Buddhist stupa. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows showcase the lake beyond the large stone patio with a fire pit,\u201d according to the Post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last property, the\u00a0Carriage House, comes with a tandem four-car garage, EV charger, an upper two-bedroom, two-bath suite apartment and a lower two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment off the patio, which the listing highlights as \u2018perfect for an onsite caretaker,\u2019\u201d the Post continued. The outlet notes the property is being offered \u201cmostly furnished.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At 88, Feinstein is the nation\u2019s oldest senator, having represented California for nearly three decades. In March, she became California\u2019s longest-serving senator.<\/p>\n<p>Feinstein and her husband came under scrutiny last year for the lucrative stock trades they made just before the COVID-19 pandemic tanked the economy, which prompted an investigation from federal authorities.\u00a0As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/feinstein-questioned-by-law-enforcement-over-husbands-stock-activity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>\u00a0in May 2020:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"28.480662983425\">\n<p><em>Federal law enforcement officials have questioned Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) over stock trades Richard Blum, the senator\u2019s husband, made ahead of the coronavirus market crash. The senator\u2019s husband <a href=\"http:\/\/barrons.com\/articles\/sen-dianne-feinsteins-husband-sold-a-biotech-stock-near-its-2020-low-51583064907\">reportedly<\/a> sold between $1.5 million and $6 million in biotech stock from January 31 to February 18.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tom Mentzer, a spokesperson for Feinstein, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfchronicle.com\/politics\/article\/Dianne-Feinstein-questioned-about-husband-s-15270295.php\">the San Francisco Chronicle<\/a> on Thursday that the California senator turned over documents that show she wasn\u2019t involved in her husband\u2019s stock trades, and \u201cvoluntarily\u201d answered \u201cquestions to set the record straight.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The spokesperson told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/03\/19\/us\/politics\/richard-burr-stocks-sold-coronavirus.html\">The New York Times<\/a> in mid-March, after reports emerged that four senators sold stocks before the market tanked, that Feinstein\u2019s assets are in a blind trust. Feinstein tweeted on March 20 that her assets have been in a blind trust throughout her senate career, which began in 1992.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Allogene Therapeutics, the biotech company whose shares her husband traded, closed at $21.72 per share on January 31 and $24.25 on February 18. The company is currently trading at $42.55 per share.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Earlier this year, Feinstein said she would be willing to pay a fine for not properly disclosing other stocks her husband bought. As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/report-feinstein-willing-to-pay-fine-for-not-properly-disclosing-husbands-stock-buy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"20.433389544688\">\n<p><em>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/dianne-feinstein-senate-california-stock-purchase-disclosure-2021-1\">Business Insider<\/a>, Richard Blum, Feinstein\u2019s husband of over forty years, purchased up to $50,000 worth of shares in The Generation Lab. The company, which was known as College Reaction at the time Blum made his purchase, is a Washington, D.C.-based polling and research firm that studies trends and young people.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Feinstein reportedly told the secretary of the Senate in a letter in early January that her husband\u2019s investment should have been reported weeks prior.
