(Tasos Katopodis\/UPI\/Bloomberg via Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Iowa numbers come less than a week after Biden\u2019s national approval rating <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/16\/joe-biden-approval-rating-putin-summit-g7-kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">slipped under 50%<\/a> in a May poll released on June 16. The poll showed a six-point drop in national approval from April to the end of May. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/22\/lindsey-graham-gop-victory-2022-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Lindsey Graham: Path To GOP Victory In 2022 Is To \u2018Get Behind President Trump\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"7.7070063694268\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Biden approval down 6 points in one month, per Monmouth (48%). Headline goes another way: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JHVuZTtdEq\">https:\/\/t.co\/JHVuZTtdEq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Joe Concha (@JoeConchaTV) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeConchaTV\/status\/1405183405701144582?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 16, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Many of Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/28\/biden-budget-request-jobs-families-plan-spending-deficit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">spending policies<\/a> remain popular according to the national poll, however. For example, the American Rescue Plan maintained a 60% approval rating, and his prospective American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan maintained 68% and 61% approval ratings, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Less than half of respondents who approve of the legislation believe Biden\u2019s plans should be passed as they are, however.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has continued the recent trend of polling lower than average for presidents at this stage of their term. The average approval ratings for the past 14 U.S. Presidents at the same stage as Biden\u2019s presidency have hovered around 66%, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/bidens-100-days-low-end-approval-strong-marks\/story?id=77218406\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ABC News<\/a>.
