The lawsuit mainly takes issue with the termination of the Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point contract, which wasn\u2019t set to expire for another decade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe City has no right to terminate our contract,\u201d the Trump Organization said in a statement Monday, according to ABC News. \u201cMayor de Blasio\u2019s actions are purely politically motivated, have no legal merit, and are yet another example of the mayor\u2019s efforts to advance his own partisan agenda and interfere with free enterprise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De Blasio <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/13\/trump-organization-bill-de-blasio-new-york-city-msnbc-morning-joe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced<\/a> that New York City would pull out of its outstanding contracts with the Trump Organization in January. The crowd\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/06\/trump-supporters-storm-us-capitol-lashes-out-pence-overturn-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/06\/trump-supporters-storm-us-capitol-lashes-out-pence-overturn-election\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1610297020144000&#038;usg=AFQjCNGMvi69UZHOdmYBgEVZzdPAGKF2_A\">breached the Capitol<\/a> after Trump\u2019s speech at the rally, in which he claimed the November election was rigged and stolen.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the city has paid the Trump Organization $17 million annually to operate two Central Park ice rinks, a carousel and the golf course in the Bronx borough of New York City, according to ABC News.
