Former President Donald Trump\u2019s administration later banned U.S. embassies and consulates from flying rainbow LGBT flags altogether, although <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/06\/09\/diplomats-fly-lgbt-flag-embassies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">some did so<\/a> anyway.<\/div>\n<div readability=\"17.449411764706\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/jamiewareham\/2020\/07\/12\/why-lgbt-people-have-started-using-a-new-pride-flag-nhs-black-lives-matters\/?sh=62483d7c125a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Progress flag<\/a>, designed in 2018, features black stripes and symbolizes people of color and different gender identities. It will be flown between June 26 and 28 to \u201cmark a couple of important turning points in our history for LGBTQI rights,\u201d Blinken said. June 26, 2015, marks the day the Supreme Court ruled in its landmark decision Obergefell v.
