During an interview with Breitbart over the weekend, Ken Paxton reported illegal immigration under Biden has been the worst the country has ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>Paxton argued Biden\u2019s immigration policies have encouraged human smuggling and trafficking. He also stated federal law enforcement officials at the border are told to not publicly discuss their observations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reality is, it\u2019s as bad as it\u2019s ever been. The Biden administration is benefiting one group of people called cartels,\u201d he explained. \u201cThe cartels are the primary beneficiaries of this, because they\u2019re making money off of almost every single person that comes through, who are charged thousands of dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">If there is one group benefiting from this border crisis, I can tell you who it is\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the cartels. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DtNl2QIf9k\">pic.twitter.com\/DtNl2QIf9k<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Texas Attorney General (@TXAG) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TXAG\/status\/1402002099362271233?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 7, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Texas attorney general also said cartels benefit from border security that focus its resources on caretaking of migrants.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to say, \u201c\u2026The border becomes more porous for drug smuggling because border patrol is so busy taking care of all these people that are just being invited to come to our country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration claimed an Obama-era program will help combat the migrant surge at the border, while insisting the border is not open. However, The U.S. has allowed 4,000 Central American minors to enter legally through the border with the Central American Minors (CAM) program. The program restarted in March and is schedule for expansion to make tens of thousands of applicants eligible.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I will do everything in my legal power with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GregAbbott_TX?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@GregAbbott_TX<\/a> to stop this crisis  <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a> has created. The Cartels are who is benefiting directly from this crisis. No more!
