I will miss him. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/sePqXBIAsE\">pic.twitter.com\/sePqXBIAsE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 President Biden (@POTUS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1406273358187044868?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 19, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur hearts are heavy today as we let you all know that our beloved German Shepherd, Champ, passed away peacefully at home,\u201d the statement began. \u201cHe was our constant, cherished companion during the last 13 years and was adored by the whole Biden family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/01\/25\/joe-biden-president-champ-major-dogs-white-house-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden<\/a> went on to say that, despite slowing down in recent weeks, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/02\/05\/white-house-dogs-champ-major-joe-biden-jill-biden-puppy-bowl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Champ<\/a> had always greeted them with a wagging tail.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWherever we were, he wanted to be, and everything was instantly better when he was next to us,\u201d Biden continued, adding, \u201cIn our most joyful moments and in our most grief-stricken days, he was there with us, sensitive to our every unspoken feeling and emotion. We love our sweet, good boy, and will miss him always.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>First Lady Jill Biden shared the same statement, adding, \u201cRIP to our sweet, good boy, Champ.
