Sanders told reporters on Thursday, his committee have opened discussion to consider a $6 trillion budget reconciliation proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Sanders said the package would include provisions to expand Medicare, lower prescription drug prices and possibly address immigration. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Sen. Jon Tester both asserted their refusal to support the steep trillion dollar framework. Warner has been discussing a smaller bipartisan package, while Tester argued that the requested amount was unnecessary.
