The fabricated tickets appear to have been made using a blank ticket template.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Fact Check:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jorge.loredo.334\/posts\/4745878362094475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">June 14 Facebook post<\/a> shows what appears to be a pair of tickets for a supposed \u201csecond inauguration\u201d for Trump scheduled Aug. 15 this year. The alleged tickets list the location of the event as \u201cin front of the Capitol steps\u201d and the \u201cspecial musical guest stars\u201d as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tednugent?lang=enhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/tednugent?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ted Nugent<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kidrock?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kid Rock<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/election-us-2020-54788636\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lost<\/a> his bid for reelection in the November presidential election. President Joe Biden won the election with 306 Electoral College votes, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/electoral-college\/2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Archives<\/a>, and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?c4939582\/joe-biden-sworn-46th-president-united-states&#038;playlist=bcfcfa9f0a458996494da080fc61a2d5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sworn in<\/a> Jan. 20. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/11\/19\/fact-check-donald-trump-instagram-voter-fraud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Donald Trump Send This Tweet About a Specific Instagram Page And Voter Fraud?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u201csecond inauguration\u201d tickets are fabricated.\u00a0Through a reverse image search, Check Your Fact found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dreamstime.com\/royalty-free-stock-images-concert-tickets-pair-blank-isolated-white-background-image38680479\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">two<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/progressprinting.com.au\/products\/print-on-paper\/marketing-ideas\/event-tickets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">websites<\/a> hosting a blank ticket template that matches the one used in the image. The ticket template on the websites and the fake tickets in the Facebook post have the same event code, section number and barcode number, among other features.<\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/news\/7565780\/ted-nugent-grabs-crotch-donald-trump-rally\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nugent<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/music\/2020\/09\/14\/kid-rock-trump-rally-michigan-donald-trump-jr-kimberly-guilfoyle\/5790508002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kid Rock<\/a> have respectively performed at a Trump event in the past, an Aug. 15 performance \u201cin front of the Capitol steps\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/kidrock.com\/pages\/tourhttps:\/\/kidrock.com\/pages\/tour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">does not<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/tour.tednugent.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">appear<\/a> on either musician\u2019s website. There is also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KidRock\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">no<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TedNugent\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">record<\/a> of either Nugent or Kid Rock announcing such a show on their verified Twitter accounts.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s possible the fake tickets are circulating in connection to recent baseless allegations that Trump will be reinstated as president by August. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/06\/01\/politics\/powell-trump-inauguration-fact-check\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snopes.com\/fact-check\/trump-reinstated-belief\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Snopes<\/a> have poured water on such claims.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2020, Check Your Fact <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/11\/25\/fact-check-trump-campaign-email-tickets-inauguration-donations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">debunked<\/a> the claim that Trump\u2019s campaign sent out an email offering supporters tickets to his \u201cinauguration in the historic Rose Garden\u201d in exchange for donations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An image shared on Facebook purportedly shows two tickets to former President Donald Trump\u2019s \u201csecond inauguration.\u201dVerdict: False Both the \u201csecond inauguration\u201d event and tickets are fake.
