We must rely on Providence and care deeply about preserving the Constitution and its freedoms in order to be a strong and prosperous people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Tribune noted that Sheriff Jensen \u201csaid in an email that the statement isn\u2019t in response to specific legislation and is instead a general statement assuring people that their rights will be protected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">\u201cSecond Amendment rights have become a hot topic in Utah since President Joe Biden\u2019s election,\u201d the report highlighted. \u201cJensen released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/news\/2021\/04\/10\/cache-county-sheriff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">statement in April<\/a> telling his constituents that unconstitutional gun control won\u2019t happen on his \u2018watch.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRecently, President Biden talked about several proposed measures of gun control and plans to sign executive orders.
