Reports have announced the shooting happened on Saturday evening after multiple people reportedly opened fire.<\/p>\n<p>Police reported multiple weapons appeared to have been used based on the shell casings left at the scene. At least two people were seen fleeing from the scene on foot, but there is a possibility more individuals could have been involved in the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>The adults suffered non-life threatening injuries, but the children were taken to a local hospital in critical condition. Lt. Col. Mike John of the Cincinnati Police Department confirmed the ages of the two children are 6 and 8 years old.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnytime you have somebody struck with gunfire at that age, it\u2019s gonna be critical,\u201d he explained. \u201cSpecifically the 8-year-old is in very, very bad shape.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Residents claim city leaders are nowhere to be found and have failed to provide the community with the help they need.
