It appears to be fabricated.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Featured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CPtXZWbNc-e\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=8a2bc41d-93a7-4f19-9291-739774dbdcdb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in the image<\/a> is what looks like a tweet from Chelsea Clinton reacting to a cartoon depicting a figure with Hillary Clinton\u2019s head passing a note to one with Fauci\u2019s head. The note in the cartoon reads, \u201cShould have deleted them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs this supposed to be funny?\u201d the text of the supposed tweet says. \u201cIt isn\u2019t. Grow up people!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cartoon appears to reference the emails from Fauci that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/nataliebettendorf\/fauci-emails-covid-response\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BuzzFeed News<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/interactive\/2021\/tony-fauci-emails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Washington Post<\/a> obtained through the Freedom of Information Act. It also seems to reference Hillary Clinton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-31806907\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">controversial use<\/a> of a private email server while she was secretary of state. Wikileaks in 2016 released emails hacked from her then-presidential campaign chairman John Podesta\u2019s account, BBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-37639370\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, there is no evidence the image shows a real tweet from Chelsea Clinton. An advanced search of her Twitter account turned up <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%22Grow%20up%20people!%22%20(from%3AChelseaClinton)&#038;src=typed_query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">no such tweet<\/a>. National media outlets also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Chelsea+Clinton+%22Grow+up+people!%22&#038;oq=Chelsea+Clinton+%22Grow+up+people!%22&#038;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60l3.14725j0j7&#038;sourceid=chrome&#038;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">haven\u2019t reported<\/a> about her tweeting the comment or cartoon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=10159784983049203&#038;set=gm.4543779788982630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Another iteration<\/a> of the supposed tweet shared on Facebook appears to show it was sent June 3 using Twitter for Android.\u00a0However, all of the June 2021 tweets visible on Chelsea Clinton\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChelseaClinton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">verified account<\/a> at the time of publication have been posted through Twitter via iPhone or the Twitter WebApp.<\/p>\n<p>In an email to Check Your Fact, a spokesperson for Chelsea Clinton said, \u201cI can confirm she didn\u2019t tweet this.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/01\/26\/fact-check-email-hillary-clinton-pizza-arrangement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Hillary Clinton Send This 2011 Email To Barack Obama Discussing \u2018The Pizza Arrangement\u2019?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chelsea Clinton interviewed Fauci in an episode of her podcast \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/in-fact-with-chelsea-clinton\/id1559607100\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In Fact with Chelsea Clinton<\/a>\u201d that was released June 8.
