(EcoHealth) a <a href=\"https:\/\/reporter.nih.gov\/search\/PbfOIYYqDU28xKp7OMp5vg\/project-details\/8674931\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">grant<\/a> entitled \u2018Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence.\u2019 This grant allowed EcoHealth to \u2018[t]est predictions of [coronavirus] \u2026 transmission \u2026 using reverse genetics\u2019 \u2026 Funds from this grant were subsequently awarded to the WIV.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUsing your own definition, it appears the NIH funded gain-of-function research at the WIV,\u201d the letter continued.<\/p>\n<p>The two lawmakers then asked Fauci to confirm the authenticity of the 2012 video on YouTube and for him to verify whether the 2014 grant description is accurate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan you please confirm the authenticity of the 2012 video accessible on the YouTube platform?
