The Biden administration moved in February to place the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/08\/22\/tiktok-sue-trump-administration-executive-order\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lawsuit<\/a> against the U.S. government on hold.<\/p>\n<p>Federal judges previously ruled <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/09\/28\/tiktok-china-court-ban-oracle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">against<\/a> Trump\u2019s attempted TikTok and WeChat bans. One found that the administration overstepped its authority in ordering TikTok to shut down, while another ruled <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/09\/20\/targets-chinese-american-community-judge-blocks-donald-trump-administration-wechat-ban\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">against<\/a> the administration in its WeChat case on First Amendment grounds.<\/p>\n<p>TikTok last week also quietly rolled out its new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/legal\/privacy-policy?lang=en#privacy-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">privacy policy<\/a> for American users, allowing it to collect \u201cbiometric identifiers and biometric information\u201d from users who consent.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
