The video in the Facebook post makes no mention of Biden facing impeachment.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The title and caption of June 7 Facebook post\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100064902607642\/videos\/4325374190899765\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">allege<\/a> Biden got a \u201cBRUTAL impeachment after his \u2018v.accine for China\u2019 FOOL.\u201d The post includes several video clips from the conservative outlet Newsmax. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/05\/19\/fact-check-germany-send-china-bill-coronavirus-damages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Germany Send China A Bill For \u2018Coronavirus Damages\u2019?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In May, the Biden administration said it would support a World Trade Organization proposal to waive intellectual property protections for COVID-19 vaccines in an effort to increase global vaccine supply, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/politics\/story\/2021-05-05\/vaccine-intellectual-property-waivers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Los Angeles Times<\/a> reported. A concern that waiving the protections could potentially harm the U.S.\u2019s position within the biomedical industry in relation to China and other countries has been expressed by some pharmaceutical firms and politicians, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/china\/us-wants-covid-vaccine-patent-waiver-benefit-world-not-boost-china-biotech-2021-05-08\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Reuters<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There is no evidence the U.S. House of Representatives, which is granted the <a href=\"https:\/\/constitution.congress.gov\/constitution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sole power<\/a> of impeachment in the Constitution, has impeached Biden. A review of the congressional record and bills available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/search?q=%7B%22congress%22:%5B%22117%22%5D,%22source%22:%22all%22,%22search%22:%22biden%20articles%20of%20impeachment%22%7D&#038;searchResultViewType=expanded\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Congress.gov<\/a> shows no instances of the House taking up or voting on articles of impeachment against the president.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene did <a href=\"https:\/\/greene.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/congresswoman-marjorie-taylor-greene-introduces-articles-impeachment-against\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announce<\/a> on Jan. 21 that she had submitted articles of impeachment against Biden. However, the resolution has no cosponsors and has not had action taken on it since March, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-resolution\/57\/all-actions?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22Biden+impeachment%22%5D%7D&#038;s=2&#038;r=1https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-resolution\/57\/all-actions?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22Biden+impeachment%22%5D%7D&#038;s=2&#038;r=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Congress.gov<\/a>. When she announced the move, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/news\/politics\/congresswoman-greene-files-articles-of-impeachment-against-president-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/newschannel9.com\/news\/local\/rep-greene-files-articles-of-impeachment-against-president-biden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">outlets<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courthousenews.com\/rep-marjorie-taylor-greene-files-articles-of-impeachment-against-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a> that it was unlikely to move forward, as the Democrats control the House and Senate.<\/p>\n<p>The video accompanying the Facebook post does not mention Biden facing impeachment at any point.
