Plowman Jr. <a href=\"https:\/\/adflegal.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-06\/Cross-v-Loudoun-County-Public-Schools-TRO-PI-Decision-2021-06-08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ruled<\/a> that the suspension of Cross was \u201can unconstitutional action \u2026 which has silenced others from speaking publicly on the issue.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>School officials circulated a draft <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/28\/tanner-cross-loudoun-county-school-administrative-leave-transgender-pronouns\/2KMg-enXHE_bQBfD43AUQTlg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">proposal<\/a> that required teachers to use <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/17\/lgbtq-crocheted-prosthetic-kid-penises-stitchbug\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">transgender<\/a> students\u2019 preferred pronouns. Cross <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Mj2FqkCug70\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a> his unbending position to always tell the truth, along with his Christian faith meant he could not use a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/10\/joe-biden-transgender-health-care-policy-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">transgender<\/a> child\u2019s selected pronoun. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/05\/25\/doctor-transgender-surgery-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Watch This \u2018Transyouth\u2019 Doctor Downplay The Significance Of \u2018Life Altering\u2019 Chest Surgery For Young Girls)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cross was put on paid administrative leave on May 27, which banned him from entering the school or speaking at school board meetings, according to the ruling.<\/p>\n<p>Cross sued the school system\u2019s top administrators and requested a preliminary injunction forcing his reinstatement on June 1. He alleged that the school violated his freedom of speech, according to the ruling.<\/p>\n<p>The judge also disputed\u00a0a claim that Cross\u2019s speech caused \u201cdisruption to school operations.\u201d He wrote the school\u2019s decision seemed \u201can unnecessary and vindictive act given the end of the school year was so close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Loudoun County Public Schools can petition for a review of the ruling within 15 days of its issuance.<\/p>\n<p>Glenn Youngkin, a Republican nominee in the 2021 Virginia gubernatorial election, tweeted out his support for Cross. \u201cAs governor, I will stand up for teachers like Tanner Cross,\u201d Youngkin said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"12.448979591837\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">As governor, I will stand up for teachers like Tanner Cross.
