Among the countries slated to receive aid are El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/budget_fy22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the proposed 2022 budget.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur comprehensive strategy to address the root causes of migration will involve significant commitments of U.S. government resources to support the long-term development of the region \u2013 including efforts to foster economic opportunity, strengthen governance, combat corruption, and improve security,\u201d the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/05\/27\/fact-sheet-vice-president-harris-launches-a-call-to-action-to-the-private-sector-to-deepen-investment-in-the-northern-triangle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/07\/donald-trump-democrats-gross-incompetence-border-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Trump Goes After Democrats For \u2018Gross Incompetence,\u2019 Says He Might Go To Southern Border Himself)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just don\u2019t think this works,\u201d Coglianese argues. \u201cI just don\u2019t think that we\u2019ve ever seen any evidence that dumping cash into Central America is going to mitigate the migration flow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/01\/cnn-cites-sources-deep-background-pr-piece-praising-defending-kamala-harris-border-job\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Harris<\/a> is busy visiting Central America to address the \u201croot causes\u201d of migration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVince &#038; Jason Save The Nation\u201d is a political debate show that grapples with America\u2019s most pressing questions.
