They all trust\u00a0<span class=\"s2\">China<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cRepublicans know the truth.\u00a0These Democrats were so\u00a0desperate to disagree with\u00a0Donald Trump, they ignored the\u00a0truth,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd let me give you a little\u00a0personal experience.\u00a0I spent eight months communicating\u00a0with the Democrat leadership to\u00a0create a China task force that was\u00a0bipartisan, equal number [of]\u00a0Republicans, equal number of\u00a0Democrats.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThey finally agreed.\u00a0We\u2019d locked it down.\u00a0We even had The Washington\u00a0Post come in to interview. [We were] about to\u00a0announce it and they pulled\u00a0back.\u00a0You know why?\u00a0\u2018Cause they felt that may give a\u00a0benefit to Donald Trump because\u00a0what was happening with\u00a0COVID,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cNow it all seems to come to\u00a0fruition.\u00a0Why were they so afraid?\u00a0They put politics before the\u00a0lives of American citizens,\u201d he added.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">McCarthy went on, saying, \u201cWe have to know the truth to\u00a0this.\u00a0We have to know why it started.\u00a0And why was the first action of President Biden to put\u00a0money back into the\u00a0<span class=\"s2\">World Health\u00a0Organization<\/span> with no penalties whatsoever?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cDid we forget what happened in Tiananmen Square 30 years ago\u2026?\u201d McCarthy asked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cYou cannot trust China,\u201d he said. \u201cYou can\u2019t even put China in the element of the Soviet Union \u2018trust but verify\u2019 because we cannot trust them.\u201d China, he said, was responsible for the deaths of \u201cmillions of people\u201d around the globe. \u201cWhy did they send international flights but stop domestic flights? Why did they influence individuals? Why did they threaten Australia when Australia wants to find out where did the COVID start?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">McCarthy added, \u201cThe rest of the world needs to stand up. And America, and especially in Congress, we should be the very first. And we should be locked hand in hand. It should not be a question about Republicans or Democrats\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In recent weeks, new information has been revealed surrounding the origins of the novel coronavirus. As The Wall Street Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/intelligence-on-sick-staff-at-wuhan-lab-fuels-debate-on-covid-19-origin-11621796228\"><span class=\"s1\">reported<\/span><\/a> last week, a previously undisclosed U.S. intelligence report showed that three researchers from China\u2019s Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalized due to illness in November 2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThe details of the reporting go beyond a State Department fact sheet, issued during the final days of the Trump administration, which said that several researchers at the lab,\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">a center for the study of coronaviruses and other pathogens<\/span>, became sick in autumn 2019 \u2018with symptoms consistent with both Covid-19 and common seasonal illness,\u2019\u201d The Journal reported.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/sen-cotton-all-evidence-points-toward-those-labs-in-wuhan-as-source-of-covid-19-virus\"><span class=\"s1\">reported<\/span><\/a>, experts \u201cagree that the pandemic originated in Wuhan, but social media outlets like Facebook and others have, until recently, censored posts that say the virus originated in a lab.
