President Joe Biden won the state by over 80,000 votes.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Trump baselessly asserted multiple times on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrumparchive.com\/?searchbox=%22Dominion%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a>, until his account was <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.twitter.com\/en_us\/topics\/company\/2020\/suspension.html\">permanently suspended<\/a> in January, that the 2020 presidential election was rigged against him with the help of the election technology firm Dominion Voting Systems. The firm has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dominionvoting.com\/election2020-setting-the-record-straight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">refuted<\/a> such allegations, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisa.gov\/news\/2020\/11\/12\/joint-statement-elections-infrastructure-government-coordinating-council-election\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">November 2020 joint statement<\/a> from the Elections Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council Executive Committee and Elections Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Council said there is \u201cno evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In recent days, social media users have been sharing a claim that \u201cso far according to Audits in Pennsylvania\u2026 TRUMP won!\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/05\/27\/fact-check-dominion-whistleblower-million-votes-switched\/\">(RELATED: Did A Dominion Voting Systems Whistleblower Say 3.8 Million Votes Were Switched To Joe Biden?)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is, however, no evidence an audit of Pennsylvania\u2019s presidential election results proved Trump to be the actual winner of the state. A risk-limiting audit pilot of the state\u2019s election results found \u201cstrong evidence of the accuracy of the count of votes cast in the November 2020 presidential election,\u201d according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.media.pa.gov\/pages\/State-details.aspx?newsid=453\">February press release<\/a>\u00a0from the state government.<\/p>\n<p>There is no mention of any audit uncovering widespread fraud or error in the state\u2019s presidential election on the Pennsylvania Department of State\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dos.pa.gov\/pages\/search.aspx\">website<\/a>. Had an audit of Pennsylvania\u2019s votes for the 2020 election revealed that Trump actually won the state, media outlets certainly would have reported on it, yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Audit+in+Pennsylvania+reveals+Trump+won&#038;rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS820US820&#038;oq=Audit+in+Pennsylvania+reveals+Trump+won&#038;aqs=chrome..69i57.9587j0j7&#038;sourceid=chrome&#038;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">none<\/a> have.<\/p>\n<p>Biden won the state by over 80,000 votes, Pennsylvania\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electionreturns.pa.gov\/General\/SummaryResults?ElectionID=83&#038;ElectionType=G&#038;IsActive=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">election returns website<\/a> shows. The Pennsylvania Department of State certified its 2020 presidential election results on Nov. 24, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.media.pa.gov\/pages\/state-details.aspx?newsid=435\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press release<\/a>. Biden, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/electoral-college\/2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">received<\/a> 306 Electoral College votes, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?508135-3\/president-biden-2021-inaugural-ceremony\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sworn in<\/a> as president on Jan. 20.<\/p>\n<p>The claim may stem from a recent issue with Dominion Voting Systems\u2019 voting machines in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, during a May 18 <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/Pennsylvania_elections,_2021\">statewide primary election<\/a>. Republicans began to report that their votes were being mislabeled as \u201cOfficial Democratic Ballots\u201d on the voting machine screen, according to local ABC News-affiliate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnep.com\/article\/news\/local\/luzerne-county\/election-machines-voting-luzerne-county\/523-025cb220-f839-4fda-91f4-125ed6bcc0c4\">WNEP-TV<\/a>.
