The expert had reached out to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GraduatedBen\/status\/1399943384496812032\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">express concern<\/a> about &#8220;fabricated data&#8221; coming out of China and the communist country&#8217;s other efforts to conceal the true extent of the virus.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1482246\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22ZFizXIAQsdwP.jpeg\" alt width=\"462\" height=\"156\" srcset=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22ZFizXIAQsdwP.jpeg 462w, https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22ZFizXIAQsdwP-300x101.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 462px) 100vw, 462px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Other emails show that in February 2020, Fauci was advising a colleague not to wear face masks, which he said were &#8220;not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through the material.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/politics\/fauci-china-email\/attachment\/e22yd9kxmamobis\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1482249\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1482249\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22YD9KXMAMOBiS.jpeg\" alt width=\"765\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22YD9KXMAMOBiS.jpeg 765w, https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22YD9KXMAMOBiS-300x162.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/E22YD9KXMAMOBiS-736x397.jpeg 736w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This month, Fauci suggested that continuing to wear a face mask, even after most restrictions have been lifted, could &#8220;diminish the likelihood that you&#8217;ll spread these respiratory borne diseases.&#8221; Fauci&#8217;s credibility has been plagued by similar inconsistencies throughout the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Few individuals in history have experienced such a rapid rise from relative obscurity to celebrity sex symbol as Fauci, whose research efforts may have <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/05\/25\/fauci-admits-nih-funding-of-wuhan-lab-denies-gain-of-function\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">played a role<\/a> in causing the COVID-19 outbreak. &#8220;Our society is totally nuts,&#8221; Fauci wrote in an April 2020 email in response to articles elevating him to sex symbol status.<\/p>\n<p>Fauci <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PhilipWegmann\/status\/1245484565034041345\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">swag<\/a> probably isn&#8217;t flying off the shelf these days, but the trove of emails obtained by various media outlets have put his name back in the headlines.
